Through the soft curve of Indian arched windows, we catch a fleeting, almost dreamlike glimpse of a playful tiger. Is it stalking its prey, or has it begun a graceful, rhythmic dance!? The moment feels suspended – alive with quiet possibility and wonder. In Indian history, Elysium symbolises a state of perfect happiness. In Greek mythology, it speaks of a paradise reserved for the heroic and the virtuous. The artwork is peaceful, perhaps the first glow of morning or the fading warmth of dusk. The colour tones help aide an overall peaceful scene.
