This work was inspired by a walk up in the French Alps during the winter.  Lorraine was passing through an old hamlet, where the snow had slid along the extended corrugated roof of a barn, folding itself onto the ground below.  The sun shone through the space between, highlighting the ski tracks and patterns along the snowy ground.
