Paul James

Paul James is a leading contemporary artist focusing on animals and landscapes, his realist style perfectly captures the fine detail and textures portrayed within his imagery. Paul is renowned for the skill and craftmanship that goes into his paintings. Paul is essentially self-taught and began painting professionally in 1986; the beautiful landscapes that inspired him, mixed with his iconic animal portraitures has helped him create a whole new style of his own. Paul’s passion for his work is partly what makes his paintings feel so unique in today’s commercial art world, it’s important for him to be allowed to experiment and be flexible- it’s this freedom that helps keep his art looking so fresh and current.
