Oli Fowler grew up in Kimpton, Hertfordshire and moved to London in 1999 to study fashion and textiles at Central Saint Martins, he then went on to get a BA in Graphic Design from Camberwell College of Arts. Oli specialises in screen-printing, he creates his prints using a variety of techniques including photography, photomontage and illustration. Oli’s creative process includes experimentation and allowing space for mistakes to give him direction for the final piece. Oli is always experimenting; some of his latest pieces have abstract compositions and have a collage scrapbook style to them, he photographs objects, textures, sculptures made out of tinfoil, whatever he can find! Oli sometimes finishes these pieces with glitter or paint, pure CMYK 4 colour printing processes are used to create the final screen-prints. Oli has been commissioned by people such as Jeremy Deller and Fiona Banner, also companies such as Island Records and The Museum of London. Oli has been involved with The Print Club for over 8 years, he is a valued technician and tutor. In 2022 Oli had his first solo show at IIF Gallery, which was a big success!
