Margaux Carpentier

Margaux Carpentier is a French-born, London-based artist known for her vibrant, symbolic, and storytelling-rich works. Working across painting, murals, illustration, and ceramics, her practice explores themes of mythology, nature, and the subconscious through a unique visual language of bold colours and totemic figures. Drawing inspiration from folklore, ritual, and the spiritual potential of everyday life, Margaux creates immersive, dreamlike worlds where human and animal forms often merge. Her work invites open interpretation — each piece acting as a visual poem, rich with layered meaning and emotional resonance. She works from her home studio in East London, often accompanied by her cat Tito, who quietly observes her colourful universe unfold.
