Leigh Lambert is from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in the North-East of England, he lived there for the first 20-odd years of his life, then moved with his family to Warwick. Leigh started painting and drawing from a young age. Leigh has always had a keen sense of detail, this has stayed as a main characteristic in his artwork to this day. Leigh gets the inspiration for his paintings from childhood interests, landscapes, and his unique way of capturing a view- it was when Leigh moved from Newcastle that he started getting more inspiration from his hometown, the industrial side of Newcastle features in many of his paintings. Leigh is a self-taught artist; he has always had this amazing talent for drawing and painting even without any formal art qualification. Leigh has great range with his work, producing work in both watercolour and oil, he has developed his own style has gotten significant praise for this and has had his work displayed in galleries and art shows around England.
