Kealey Farmer Abstracts

This is Kealey Farmer’s work like you’ve never seen it before! You may recognise her dream like paintings depicting childhood scenes or flowers, but now she has dived into abstracts. This may seem out of the blue, but it is actually a return to how it all started almost 20 years ago, she began her career with large scale abstracts based on colour and energy, she felt compelled to return to this style of painting. These stunning new pieces have been in the works for almost 3 years, she uses unique layering techniques and utilises different materials. While her skills have been refined and her work has evolved over this time, you can still see that the underlying essence remains the same. These new artworks on large scale canvas are all about energy; the work Kealey produces are full of feeling, she provokes emotion with colour, texture and structure, designed for the contemporary art lover. We are so excited to have this new collection at IIF Gallery.
