Danielle is an internationally collected artist whose paintings radiate energy, colour, and emotion. Working with remarkable freedom and expressive brushwork, she creates luminous compositions that celebrate both the beauty of nature and the limitless possibilities of abstraction. Whether portraying exuberant floral arrangements or immersive abstract landscapes, her distinctive palette, fluid forms, and personal language of signs and symbols make every piece instantly recognisable. Originally from Canada, Danielle embraced a new chapter by relocating to Ireland’s dramatic west coast, where the untamed Atlantic, rolling hills, and ever-changing light continue to inspire her creative practice. This profound connection to the landscape is reflected in the vitality and depth of her work. Committed to mastering her craft, Danielle studied the ancient Japanese art of sumi-e brush painting and was honoured with the prestigious Master’s Seal for exceptional achievement. The red Japanese chop mark featured in her paintings represents her honorary sumi-e title, Source of Joy, symbolising the Eastern philosophy that enriches her artistic vision. Her unique fusion of Eastern and Western influences has earned international recognition, with collectors across Europe, North America, and the Pacific acquiring her work. Danielle was also the subject of the acclaimed retrospective book Illumination, celebrating her artistic journey and contribution to contemporary art. A passionate traveller, Danielle has explored every continent in search of inspiration, drawing from diverse cultures, landscapes, and natural elements. She incorporates finely ground minerals—including quartz, gold, and diamond tailings—into her paints, adding rich texture and creating artworks that are both visually striking and deeply connected to the earth.
