Andrei Protsouk

Ukrainian artist Andrei Protsouk developed an exceptional gift for art from a very young age, he was born into a family of artists with his father a photographer, and his mother a master embroiderer. Protsouk attended the prestigious Lugansk School of Fine Art, then went onto a masters at one of the world’s finest art training programmes. Andrei’s early works involved the use of heavy textures and dark colours, reflecting the melancholy of the soviets’ living conditions of the time. In 1994 Protsouk moved to the US and quickly became a prominent figure in the contemporary art scene, with this his paintings went from melancholic to full of colour, with this added colour he also added more intricate shapes and varied textures to his work. Andrei today continues to experiment with a wide variety of different media and subject matters. His passion for the arts has given him great commercial success with brands such as Coca Cola and Jonnie Walker. All his works are regarded as being potentially strong for investments.
